I recommend a command ship for C3 or a HAC for C2, if you don't want to risk a T3 ship. I wouldn't solo with a T1 ship in C3.

The Iskhur and the matar AFs are great for PVP. For gangs, you could consider HACs (T2 cruisers), and for solo PVP a Falcon, perhaps, or something like that.

Nice idea. I also don't like the fact that gallente battleships are WAY bigger than caldari ones - the Hyperion for example is 3 times bigger than a Rokh. And the little window which allows to preview the ships actually lies about their length.

The popular choice is a faction-fitted CNR, but if you can fly marauders, the Golem is for you. If you don't like bs sized ships, the Nighthawk is also very nice for this purpose.

Gallente suck? Seriously? Have you looked at caldari for example? Caldari are good for PvE. And nothing else most of the time. Missiles are mostly crap in PvP, and their railgun ships' bonuses are mostly useless. There are 2 really good T1 caldar...
